1. What can I legally burn and when can I burn it?

It is unlawful for anyone within the City to burn trash or leaves. Irrigation ditch burning is authorized only when prior notice is provided to the Mountain View Fire Protection District.

The City of Dacono is serviced by Mountain View Fire Rescue. The District provides an array of emergency and non-emergency services including: Fire, Rescue, Advanced Life Support Transport Services and Basic Life Support Emergency Medical Service, Public Education, Fire Prevention, and other specialized services.
