1. What is the City of Dacono's sales tax rate?

The City's tax rate is 3%.

2. When are my taxes due?

Tax returns are generally due on the 20th of the month following the reporting period. If the 20th falls on a weekend or holiday, the due date is the next business day. Returns must be postmarked on or before the due date to be considered timely.

If you already have a sales tax account but don't know the City Code and/or password, contact Ashley Taylor by e-mail (ataylor@cityofdacono.com) or by phone (303-833-2317 x 120). If you've never logged into your account but you do have the City Code, temporary passwords default to the first "word" of the address (i.e. 123 Main Street is 123 or PO Box 500 is PO).

Yes, the City of Dacono has a 3% use tax.

5. Is there a fee to register for sales tax?

There is no fee for sales tax registration, and your registration never expires. If your business is physically located within the City of Dacono you are also required to obtain a business license.
